About Me
The short version

My name is David Danon.
I don’t mind getting old, but I sure don’t want to feel old. Not for vanity, but because I don’t want to stop doing the things I love and am passionate about: practicing and teaching yoga, training at the gym, surfing, and wing foiling. (I love the water.)
My Path to What I Do Today Wasn’t Exactly Straightforward
But a brutal job and a cancer diagnosis sidetracked my dreams. I dug in and did a ridiculous amount of research. I learned more about cancer, chronic disease, and the system that treats them than I ever wanted to know. Then I wrote a book, Life, Yoga, and Cancer (available on Amazon).
The Next Phase
After finding my way back to somewhat normal, I focused everything on regaining and maintaining all the metabolic and fitness excellence I could achieve. The next phase was obvious.
The Greatest Satisfaction
My greatest satisfaction in this life has been helping people through 30 years of fitness training and teaching Yoga, thousands of students in thousands of classes, and the positive impact on their lives.
Passing on what I have learned by surviving and thriving at 75 years old is an extension of that passion.
I want to see people age with strength, mobility, and metabolic health. I am the same size I was at 25, on no medications, and can do the things I love (albeit less extreme versions). And that is what I wish for everyone!
Why Should You Trust Me?
My credentials include NASM Certified Wellness Coach, ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Exercise Specialist, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, among others. But none of that means more to me than the three doctors in the last three years who told me I am in the top 1–2% of all patients in my demographic that they see.
The true worth of what we do is revealed by the results.
Final Thought
I honestly believe that more people can find the strength and knowledge to live out their years as the extraordinary exception to the accepted rule of aging. If more people could do that and be an inspiration to others, the world would be a better place
“I love his vibe, he is the real deal. He has taught me so much, I’m indebted to him. His spirit is unique.” JR
